Buller Pass Wildflowers, Kananaskis

Description:
A meandering trail leads to a waterfall, unique rock outcrops, rugged cliff bands, and an open alpine valley. A steep rocky slope leads to Buller Pass where spectacular views of Ribbon Lake and Mount Assiniboine are achieved.

Meet at the Shell station at COP.
Distance/Length:
Rated (MOD/INT), 12 km + 400 or 600 meters elevation gain: 5-6 hours hiking. There is an option for some people to stop after about 400 metres of elevation gain and enjoy the wide-open valley while others hike to the pass.
Carpool Option:
When possible, carpooling will be arranged from the Shell station in Calgary. It is not guaranteed but may be an option.
