Burstall Pass Larch, Kananaskis

Description:

Burstall Pass trail winds through forests and willow flats near the Burstall Lakes then climbs to alpine meadows and golden larches. Definitely one of the top larch hikes in Kananaskis!

Meet Place:

Meet at the Shell Gas station across from COP on Hwy 1 (Trans Canada) at 7:30 a.m. or at the trailhead at 9:30 a.m. Here is the Burstall Pass trailhead Google Map info: https://goo.gl/maps/bADhnvecfzH7xyyt5

Directions:

Burstall Pass trailhead is located on Hwy 762 (Smith Dorrien) in Kananaskis.

Distance/Length:

Rated MOD: 16 km + 450 m elevation gain: 5 hours of hiking.

Carpool Option:

When possible, carpooling will be arranged from the Shell Station.  If you need to carpool because you do not have a car, please advise Lori we will arrange to meet you at an LRT or location en route to the trailhead that is convenient.
