DESCRIPTION:Description:\nWe’ll walk along the Bow River Pathway to the Douglas Fir Trail where we will climb through a Douglas Fir Forest to views of the Bow River.  We’ll connect to Wildwood at that point and navigate the neighbourhood to a hidden single track wilderness trail that leads to the Quarry Road Trail.   \nWant to join us?\nScroll down to the bottom for the options \nMeet Place:\nMeet at the official parking for Edworthy Park\, at the intersection of Shaganappi Trail and Memorial Drive. We meet by the bathrooms. Or you can park on the south side of Edworthy and walk across to meet us (or let me know that you are on that side and we will walk over to meet you) \nBathroom:\nBathroom at the trailhead (year-round heated on north side\, port-a-potty on south side)

Views of the Rockies\, Calgary’s downtown core\, and the Bow River are the treats on this outing. We’ll loop back along the Bow River Pathway and over the Peace Bridge. \nMeet Place:\nMeet at the official parking lot for Riley Park on 8 Avenue\, just east of 12 Street\, NW. It is at the VERY end of 8 Ave and has free 3-hour parking. \nBathrooms:\nYes (Late May- mid October) \nPost-Walk Coffee Stop (Optional):\nVendome Café
