The Park preserves and protects significant natural and cultural features\, including examples of endangered ecosystems and rare species\, First Nations and early ranching and industrial settlements\, and breathtaking landscapes. \nMeet Place:\nThe official parking lot for Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park. Access to the Park is from Glenbow Road\, off of Highway 1A. The Park is 34 km west of downtown Calgary and 5 km east of Cochrane. Park in the official parking lot at the end of Glenbow Road. \nBathrooms:\nYes\, bathrooms at the trailhead \nPost-Walk Coffee Stop (Optional):\nNone\, but bring some snacks or lunch for a post-walk picnic stop with views of the Rockies

We’ll loop back along the Bow River Pathway and over the Peace Bridge. \nMeet Place:\nMeet at the official parking lot for Riley Park on 8 Avenue\, just east of 12 Street\, NW. It is at the VERY end of 8 Ave and has free 3-hour parking. \nBathrooms:\nYes (Late May- mid-October)
