Traction devices (cleats) for your boots should be used for this winter hike. You can rent cleats from Sports Rent in Calgary. \nMeet Place:\nShell Station at COP \nDirections:\nMeet at the Shell station at COP before driving to Evan Thomas parking lot on Hwy 40\, near the Village of Kananaskis. \nDistance/Length:\nRated (AL)\, 10 km + 200 meters elevation gain: 3-4 hours on the trail. \nCarpool Option:\nWhen possible\, carpooling will be arranged from the Shell station in Calgary. It is not guaranteed but may be an option.
