DESCRIPTION:Description:\nWe’ll hike the neighbourhoods\, river trails\, and the High Line Trail trail in Canmore. We’ll walk along the Bow River towards the Three Sisters mountain ranges before walking the Highline Trail. We’ll stop in downtown Canmore for a coffee post-hike if you have time. Bring lunch for the hike and we will eat along the trail. You should be back in Calgary by 3-4 pm (depending on if you stop for a coffee) \nRegistration & Fees:\nWant to join us? Scroll down to the bottom for registration and fee options. \nMeet Place:\nMeet in Canmore at Centennial Park\, 5 Ave and 5 St\, near the bathrooms. There is official parking and street parking along the park at 5 Ave and 5 St. \nDirections:\nTake Hwy 1 to Canmore \nDistance/Length:\nRated (MOD)\, 10 km + 500 meters elevation gain: 4-5 hours on trail. \nCarpool Option:\nWhen possible\, carpooling will be arranged from Calgary. If you need to carpool\, please advise Lori. It is not guaranteed but may be an option.

We’ll hike beyond Jumpingpound Summit along grassy slopes to big views and our lunch spot. \nMeet Place:\nAllen Bill trailhead\, Elbow Falls Trail (Hwy 66) Kananaskis \nDirections:\nThis trailhead is about a 45-55 minute drive from Calgary. \n\nAccess Hwy. 66 from Hwy. 22 (Hwy. 22 becomes Hwy. 66) or from Hwy. 8 (Glenmore Trail West).\nFollow Hwy. 66 into Kananaskis Country\nGo past the Information Centre and watch for the “Allen Bill” sign.\nThe sign and parking is just past the Elbow River Crossing at the bottom of long\, gradual hill.\n\nDistance/Length:\nRated* (MOD)\, 10 km + 500 meters elevation gain: 4-5 hours hiking time \n*Please see the drop menu below for an explanation of ratings \nCarpool Option:\nWhen possible\, carpooling will be arranged from the meet place.
