DESCRIPTION:Description:\nA meandering trail leads to a waterfall\, unique rock outcrops\, rugged cliff bands\, and an open alpine valley. A steep rocky slope leads to Buller Pass where spectacular views of Ribbon Lake and Mount Assiniboine are achieved. \nRegistration & Fees:\nWant to join us? Scroll down to the bottom for registration and fee options. \nMeet Place:\nShell at COP \nDirections:\nMeet at the Shell station at COP. We will then drive to the Buller trailhead which is about 1 hour and 45 minutes on the Spray Lakes / Smith Dorrein Road\, Hwy 742\, Kananaskis \nDistance/Length:\nRated (MOD/INT)\, 15 km + 500 or 670 meters elevation gain: 5-6 hours hiking. There is an option for some people to stop after about 500 metres of elevation gain and enjoy the wide-open valley while others hike to the pass. The final hike to the pass ascends a rocky and bouldery slope. \nCarpool Option:\nWhen possible\, carpooling will be arranged from the Shell station in Calgary. It is not guaranteed but may be an option. \n
