DESCRIPTION:Description:\nThis is a moderate to a strenuous hike to panoramic views\, with some off-trail hiking up to Pocaterra Ridge. There are options to stop before the top as the views are spectacular the entire hike! \nMeet Place:\nHighwood Pass parking lot\, Kananaskis \nDirections:\nMeet at the Highwood Pass parking lot\, Hwy 40\, Kananaskis (trailhead for Pocaterra Ridge and Ptarmigan Cirque trails) \nDistance/Length:\nRated (INT)\, 12 km + 760 meters elevation gain: 5-6 hours hiking. There is an option for some people to stop after about 500 metres of elevation gain and enjoy the views while others hike to the top. \nCarpool Option:\nWhen possible\, carpooling will be arranged from the meet place.
