DESCRIPTION:Description:\nWe’ll hike the neighbourhoods\, river trails\, and the High Line Trail trail in Canmore. We’ll walk along the Bow River towards the Three Sisters mountain ranges before walking the Highline Trail. We’ll stop in downtown Canmore for a coffee post-hike if you have time. Bring lunch for the hike and we will eat along the trail. You should be back in Calgary by 3-4 pm (depending on if you stop for a coffee) \nRegistration & Fees:\nWant to join us? Scroll down to the bottom for registration and fee options. \nMeet Place:\nMeet in Canmore at Centennial Park\, 5 Ave and 5 St\, near the bathrooms. There is official parking and street parking along the park at 5 Ave and 5 St. \nDirections:\nTake Hwy 1 to Canmore \nDistance/Length:\nRated (MOD)\, 10 km + 500 meters elevation gain: 4-5 hours on trail. \nCarpool Option:\nWhen possible\, carpooling will be arranged from Calgary. We’ll climb some more before dipping into a forest and beginning our final accent to the top of the Bull Creek Hills. We will do a portion of the Bull Creek Hills route and will backtrack down to our cars. Panoramic views\, fall foliage\, and Limber pines are a constant. \nMeet Place:\nRed Deer Lake Church\, Hwy 22X (If you are keen to carpool from the city\, please advise Lori and she will try to match you with someone else) \nDirections:\nFrom the meet place we travel to Longview and then into the Kananaskis. \nDistance/Length:\nRated (MOD/INT)\, 10 km + 500-600* meters elevation gain: 5 hours hiking time\n*Option to climb more or less \nCarpool Option:\nWhen possible\, carpooling will be arranged.
