Boom Lake Snowshoe, Banff National Park

Description:
We’ll climb along a forested path to big open views of surrounding peaks and the spectacular Boom Lake.
Meet Place:
Boom Lake Trailhead, Banff National Park
Directions:
Take Hwy 1 west to Castle Junction and then take Hwy 93 south, just past Storm Mountain Cabins, to Boom lake Trailhead. See the location map below.
Distance/Length:
Rated (MOD), 10 km + 3-400 meters elevation gain: 4+ hours on trail.
Carpool Option:
When possible, carpooling will be arranged from the Brentwood LRT Co-op gas station in Calgary, please advise if you do not have a car and need to use this option. It is not guaranteed but may be an option.
