Mount Lipsett, Kananaskis

Description:

This scenic trail takes you to breathtaking views of the front ranges. Mount Lipsett trail is a relatively easy summit hike near Highwood Pass with remarkable views of the surrounding mountain landscape. It’s a great hike to experience classic Highwood region ecology which changes as you gain elevation. In the Spring and summer, forests of bog orchids and red paintbrush at lower elevations give way to flowery alpine meadows closer to the summit, and in the fall, golden hues blanket the slopes.

Mount Lipsett is on Hwy 40 just south of the Highwood Pass
