Curly Sands & Mesa Butte Summit, Kananaskis

Description:

Join us for a wonderful beginner foothills summit hike close to Calgary. We’ll head southwest of Calgary to the foothills near Millarville to hike to big views (we’ll see the city!) atop Mesa Butte. This little summit hike is little known but so close to the city. A great one to add to your year-round hiking! After the hike you could plan to take a quick detour to the Leighton Art Centre to do a stroll on the trails, check out their artist and artisan shop and soak up the spectacular views.
