Grass Pass & beyond (Bull Creek Hills), Kananaskis

Description:

We’ll climb a forested path along the Pack Trail Coulee to a grassy pass between the Bull Creek Hills and Holy Cross Mountain. We’ll then dip into a forest before climbing to the top of Bull Creek Hills. We will do a portion of the Bull Creek Hills route and will backtrack down to our cars. Panoramic views, wildflowers, and Limber pines are a constant.

Meet Place:

Longview ESSO, Hwy 22 in Longview

Directions:

Travel south on Hwy 22 to Longview. We’ll meet at the ESSO station.

Rated (MOD), 10 km + 700* meters elevation gain: 5 hours hiking time

Carpool Option:

When possible, carpooling will be arranged from the meet place.
