Hike: Grotto Canyon ice walk & Canmore café, Kananaskis

Description:

We’ll walk into the impressive Grotto Canyon before heading to Canmore for a hot drink! Icers (cleats) are necessary for this winter hike as we’ll be walking on ice at times.  You can rent cleats from Sports Rent in Calgary.

Distance/Length:

Rated (AL), 7 km + 300 meters elevation gain: 3-4 hours on trail.

Carpool Option:

When possible, carpooling will be arranged from the Shell station in Calgary. It is not guaranteed but may be an option.
