Mount Yamnuska, Raven’s End trail, Kananaskis

Description:

A forested climb to the east ridge of Yamnuska known as Raven’s End leads to spectacular views. This hike is part of the Fall session of hikes with Club Fit Frog.

Meet Place:

Mount Yamnuska trailhead, Kananaskis

Directions:

Hwy. 1A (Bow Valley Trail). 2.1 km east of 1X Highway turn left (north) onto the quarry road. Keep straight, then turn left into a parking lot.

Distance/Length:

Rated (AL/MOD), 7 km + 500 meters elevation gain: 4 hours hiking time

Carpool Option:

When possible, carpooling will be arranged from the meet place. It is not guaranteed but may be an option. In order to carpool (to drive or be a passenger) please confirm that you are fully vaccinated for Covid 19. You can do this by emailing Lori at lorib@fitfrog.ca with a copy of your vaccine record. If you DO NOT want to carpool then you do not need to provide vaccine confirmation.
