Pocaterra Ridge larch hike, Highwood Pass, Kananaskis

Description:
This is a moderate hike with options to hike higher making the hike more strenuous. No matter how far you go you’ll enjoy panoramic views, with some off-trail hiking up to Pocaterra Ridge.
Meet Place:
Shell Station, across from COP
Directions:
We will drop cars at Little Highwood Pass and then carpool to Highwood Pass parking lot, Hwy 40, Kananaskis (trailhead for Pocaterra Ridge and Ptarmigan Cirque trails)
Distance/Length:
Rated (MOD with INT option), 10 km + 400 metres (up to 800 metres if doing the summit option)
Carpool Option:
When possible, carpooling will be arranged from the meet place.
