Ptarmigan Cirque Snowshoe, Highwood Pass, Kananaskis

Description:
Join us for the last day at the top of the world! The Highwood Pass closes on Dec. 1 so we’ll enjoy the final day snowshoeing a forested path before entering a spectacular cirque with big views all around.
Meet Place:
Shell Station at COP
Directions:
Meet at the Shell station at COP. We will drive west on Hwy 1 to Hwy 40 turnoff. Continue on Hwy. 40 to the Highwood Pass Parking lot.
Distance/Length:
Rated (MOD), 8 km + 300 meters elevation gain. Approx. 4 hours on the trail.
Carpool Option:
When possible, carpooling will be arranged from the Shell Station. If you do not have a car and want to meet at the LRT, please advise Lori.
