Snowshoe: Ptarmigan Cirque, Highwood Pass, Kananaskis

Join us for the last day at the top of the world! The Highwood Pass closes on Dec. 1 so we’ll enjoy the final day snowshoeing a forested path before entering a spectacular cirque with big views all around.

Meet Place:
Shell Station off Hwy 1 and Bowfort Road (see map below)
Directions:
After we meet up we will continue on Hwy. 40 to the Highwood Pass Parking lot.
Distance/Length:
Rated (MOD), 8 km + 300 meters elevation gain. Approx. 4 hours on the trail.
Carpool Option:
Carpooling will be arranged at the meet place. It is not always possible so please connect with Lori in advance if you do not have a car and have to carpool just to make sure this is possible.
